The CR6 digital power module is designed for some of the latest cars equipped with common rail fuel systems. The power module is fully compatible with the latest diesel technology. An additional set of connectors enable the module to bypass the control system, that would normally lower the original power in the case a power module is detected. The unique PLUS feature utilises optimized timing and a slight increase in turbo boost pressure to achieve even better performance than a standard CR6 module without the PLUS feature activated. No adjustments to make. Plug-in installation is a given.

The CR6 is our latest version of power modules designed for cars equipped with common rail fuel systems. Our vast experience combined with increasingly demanding fuel systems have led to the development of several new innovative features.

• An additional set of connectors enable the module to bypass the control system, that would normally lower the original power in the case a power module is detected.

• An additional set of connectors connect to the turbo boost sensor enabling the power module to control the airflow prior to introducing additional fuel into the system. This important feature helps prevent the build up of soot and to keep the exhaust temperature at an acceptable level, without having to limit the power increase.

• Watertight housing combined with automotive quality connectors ensure a very durable and corrosion proof product.

• Model-specific software means no need for adjustments.

• We continuously develop the PLUS software feature for new car models. This software based control of the turbo boost pressure enables a total performance increase of as much as 60hp and 100Nm. The engine’s original diagnostics system is kept intact, and all safety features are maintained to ensure that engine loads are kept within the manufactures’ limitations.

ProMotech’s CR6 power modules are developed for engines with common rail fuel systems and employ very advanced dynamic digital technology. The power modules are compatible with second-generation particle filters and piezo injectors. The power modules are reprogrammable and can therefore be fitted onto another vehicle providing it employs the same type of fuel system. This may require a new wiring harness. The CR6 power modules are part of a unique article and serial number system to insure product identification in the event of reprogramming or in warranty matters. To insure quality and reliability, all of our power modules have undergone hours of rigorous testing under harsh physical conditions.
